Master the draft

Stay within a car length of the car ahead on straights. The slipstream tow builds speed without extra throttle — swing wide late and pass on the inside or outside depending on the next corner.

Drift with purpose

Handbrake drifts rotate the car faster than steering alone, but scrub speed if held too long. Tap for tight hairpins, trail off early on faster sweepers so you exit with momentum.

Watch AI defence

Rivals move to block overtakes on the racing line. Feint one side, commit to the other, or use draft on a straight where they cannot zigzag effectively.

Time Trial first

Learn each circuit solo before adding traffic. Note where tyre marks accumulate — those are the popular drift points other drivers use too.

Elimination survival

In Elimination mode, mid-pack is dangerous when the timer nears zero. Push one aggressive overtake before the countdown rather than defending last place lap after lap.

Championship consistency

Points across six rounds reward finishing positions more than a single heroic win. Pick a car you can drive cleanly on every track — the forgiving Falcon GT often beats a faster car you cannot control on Stormcliff or Sunrock Desert.

Car choice

Start with the Falcon GT until you know the circuits. Move to the Comet FX when you want maximum response on tracks with long linked corners like Neon Vale and Nightfall GP.
